This holiday season has the potential to be really crazy with studying, tests, licensure exams, and family time or really laid back family fun with a little bit of studying…I am not sure which at this point but either way I am excited to decorate.

When I saw the picture of her Christmas tree, I knew I found exactly what I was looking for! I thought I would share the ornaments and other goodies that I will be purchasing to create my own hunter green/black buffalo plaid Christmas masterpiece!
I haven’t decided yet if I want to add in silver with the pops of gold… I feel like I should considering it flows so well in, like, any christmas tree you see on pinterest.

Needless to say, I’m getting so excited to decorate for the holidays but I can’t make myself put up my tree before Thanksgiving…yet! I can probably be persuaded as this seems to be our cultural trend lately. Do I sound so Bah-hum-bug or no?
In true fashion of my momma, I’ll be crafting my own tree topper with the ribbon I linked above. I don’t know what it is but I just can’t make myself spend money on a topper when I can make one myself!
I also make my own tree skirt in roughly .5 seconds–saves time and major money!
