The time has come, friends. My state has had it’s one and only snow/ice storm of the year. Inevitably occurring in February which means that as the sun shines again and everything begins to melt, it is time to get to work in the garden.
I am not going to lie. I’m ITCHING to get my hands dirty this year. After a season of having to depend so heavily on others to complete my garden tasks and help with even the smallest things due to pregnancy; I am ready to dig in to anything and everything.
In years to come, I hope the layout of my gardens are more established than they are as of yet.
Unfortunately, that is not the case this year. Nor was it last year. Or the year before that.
So, I will spend these next several weeks re-establishing structures, creating a new layout as to what I think will work best this year, and planning my planting guide and schedule.

I want this space to be inviting to friends and family.
The idea that I can create something that brings others just as much joy as it brings me. Perhaps we could even gather for meals here.
I want the memories here just as desperately as I want the experience.
Therefore, let’s get to work. Shall we?
